We absolutely love the pictures and can't thank you enough. You do
incredible and beautiful work - you actually captured the emotion of the
day and it tells a story, just like you promised. We are glad we decided
to skip the videographer and put extra money into photography because your
work is worth every penny. People are absolutely amazed by our pictures,
saying that they look like they are right out of a magazine, yet still
manage to look like us. (And anyone that can make us look good yet not
unnatural gets an A+ in my book! We normally hate photos of ourselves) So
many of the shots are just so unique and visually interesting. What also
is so important is your demeanor on the day - so laid back and calm and it
put all of us at ease. Our bridal party raved about you - all the girls
loved your attention to detail and all of the guys found you to be easy to
get along with and actually didn't mind standing in the sweltering heat
posing for photos. So, in short, thank you so much for being one of our
favorite vendors and giving us memories that will last forever.
The day went by so quickly, yet you were able to capture all the events and emotions during the day. As we looked through the proofs, we were both able to say exactly what we were feeling at that moment. Certain photos even brought tears to our eyes. As we showed friends our pictures numerous people pointed out specific pictures saying they could envision them in a magazine, because the quality and clarity far surpass the average wedding photograph.
You are an amazing photographer who exceeded our high expectations. Thank you, Mike, for doing such a remarkable job documenting our wedding day.
I just got the proofs, and I'm so thrilled that I'm practically ready to
worship you. You are truly a magician. I hold the official title of "Most
Unphotogenic Person Who Ever Lived" and you actually managed to make me look
decent--even good--in a fair number of photos. My broad face, my tendency
toward a double chin, my pug nose, my fat arms and short stature---all of
these were (most of the time) no match for your enchanted lens! And you
captured the adorable boyish charm of Tim so perfectly! Most important,
though, you chronicled the day with such skill, grace, and sensitivity, and
I will be forever grateful.
I just showed the proofs to the art director I work with (she regularly
supervises photo shoots, sometimes with top New York photographers like John
Dolan--don't know if you've ever heard of him, but his stuff is in Martha
Stewart Weddings all the time) and she was amazed. We both agreed that many
of these shots are totally publishable!
